"My urgent visit to women’s health and ultrasound"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology Pilgrim Hospital / X-ray and Scans

(as a service user),

I could not fault the service I received. Every member of staff involved were happy caring and considerate. The departments I visited were spotlessly clean and I felt at ease and extremely well looked after and cared for with respect. Thank you so much for making a worrying situation not so scary after all. Every effort was made to put my mind at rest and I was constantly reassured that I would be treated with respect and on my terms. I’m sure I was their worst nightmare as my nervousness was quite apparent but they kept on smiling and explaining every procedure and constantly put my mind at rest. Lovely, caring staff. I felt very special and cared for!

Hello; it was lovely to read your feedback and I have shared with the gynae and diagnostic teams - I know they will love to read it too.

I was particularly pleased to read about how you were treated on 'your terms' and how your anxieties were eased; these aspects of care are so important and whilst I know our staff strive to do this every day for all our patients it is good to see it highlighted.
