"Caring staff"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / General surgery Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I am having treatment for secondary breast cancer and have spent a lot of time at RAEI and TLC. All of the doctors and nursing staff at both places have really helped me through at such a stressful time. Today I went for a mammogram in Suite 5 TLC. I have mobility problems and can only use one arm and the ladies in that department did everything they could to help me. I usually dread these tests but they made it so easy for me. I want to make sure that they know how grateful I am. I feel lucky that I am under such an excellent system.

Thank you for your positive posting about your treatment and care here at the Trust under the care of the Breast Care teams. I will ensure that this is passed to the Division of Surgery so they can share with relevant staff. May I also take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to you. Kind regards
