I visited the new Inverurie health centre recently and was impressed. It’s a great improvement from the old one, it’s spacious, clean and the waiting rooms are much improved.

I want to especially write about the GP I saw. Dr Rutledge was very efficient, kind and approachable. I had my 8 month old with me and she was very understanding when he made noise or sick burped on me.  She was very thorough and listen to me and what medication I had had before that had worked for my psoriasis. She examined me and prescribe the medication I required. I felt really confident in her care and knowledge even in the 10 minute appointment had. She’s a credit to her profession.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your story. It is fabulous for staff to hear when patients have felt listened to and confident in their care and so really disappointing that I am so late in acknowledging your lovely comments!

I’m glad you were impressed with the new health centre – it was definitely time for a change and even though the team there will have had quite an upheaval – it’s good to know patients are appreciating the improvements.

Your comments have been sent through to Dr Rutledge and the team at Inverurie today and I’m sure they will be delighted you got in touch.
