"The loss of my baby peanut"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

The worse experience of my life. After being in an out of branston ward during my pregnancy at 15 weeks and 6 days my little fighter could fight no more and we had to say goodbye. Not only did I I have this to deal with but I was also rushed into theatre with complications.

This meant I was very poorly and the nurses noticed this and decided to let me have time to get better before the horrible chat we had to have about our baby and what happens now. They dealt with it with so much care and dignity it helped at   a very sad time in our lives. They made us a memory box which we will treasure forever and each and everyone of the staff on Branston Ward ensured they treated me the most outstanding way they could.

After 5 days of being in hospital I finally got discharged and even then one nurse in particular Lisa phoned to see how I was doing and reassured me that the ward is there if I need anyone.   Could not fault my treatment 1 single bit. Thank you everyone.

Dear Trish3113

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such kind feedback for our team, we are privileged that we were able to care for and support you through this sad, emotional time.

I will pass your beautiful words on to our team especially to Lisa, if you need anything at all please give the ward a call and we will be happy to support you.

with love
