"Visit to minor injuries department with an eye..."

About: Cromer Hospital

Something had 'flown' into my eye 10 days earlier.

It suddenly started to hurt a lot and had kept me awake.

I went on a Sunday morning to the Minor Injuries Department and was greeted in a very friendly and thorough manner.

Having been afraid to be a nuisance I was immediately put to ease.

Within a quarter of an hour I was in a cubicle having my eye looked at.by an extremely pleasant and encouraging lady who said I had a blocked duct.

I was given some ointment and drops which I was told should clear the problem.

As a back up I was given a list of opticians in Cromer that I could visit if the problem persisted.

I was extremely impressed with the quick and efficient visit which has completely solved what was a worrying problem.

Thank you.
