"Suggestions for improvement at New Victoria Hospital"

About: New Victoria Hospital (Glasgow)

(as a relative),

I have visited the New Victoria Infirmary on a weekly basis. On each occasion I have been distressed by the amount of thick fluff blowing along the corridors like tumbleweed. The ladies toilet on the atrium area is not always fresh. There are hand gel dispensers lying empty, and there are not enough of them. Should they be sited at the sliding doors or at the escalators, where hands are the first line of potential infection?

Some of the elderly patients are complaining of coldness in the clinics.

Please could some fold down seats be placed along the vacant walla in the atrium for use of infirm and elderly.

Please stop "pick up" cars from taxi and ambulance area at front door. Ambulances and taxis can't get near the door.
