About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage son decided to do a bit of pre-Christmas Parkour instead of go Christmas shopping. Unfortunately, he ended up landing badly and fractured his collar bone. Took him to the A& E at Nsech in Cramlington and was very impressed by the speed with which we were seen by the triage nurse and then by consultant (seen within 40 minutes) and then xrayed. All of the facilities were close at hand. Everyone we met treated us with respect and clearly communicated everything to us.

Dear Mighty Quinn,

Oh dear – that sounds sore ? Certainly less risk in the Metro centre rather than an assault course ! I do hope your son’s shoulder mends well over Christmas and it doesn’t spoil the celebrations too much.

Thanks for taking the time to share your review - I will share your review with the teams who cared for your son, I am sure they will be delighted.

All the best,

Annie
