"Visitor to York"

About: York Hospital

I injured my foot/ankle when in York in transit to visit my husband In Ward 25 after surgery.

The reception and immediate attention was exemplary and after xray was provided with a boot for support and necessary stick for balance being 82 years and far from home in Eastern Scotland.

The kindness, understanding of my situation and assistance beyond the call of duty was overwhelming and I cannot find words to express my gratitude .

This was my first ever experience of A and E and so very different from what we are told on the media.. Thank you for all you did to help me at such a difficult time.
