"I cannot express my level of satisfaction"

About: Brooksby Day Hospital / Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I moved from Kilmarnock to Largs in June of 2018 after my wife had died suddenly in January 2018. In the months before that I had had a few falls and had been referred to a Falls Clinic although no visit had yet taken place.

On coming to Largs my care was handed over to the Brooksby Health and Therapy Team in August 2018 who have now discharged me in November.

I cannot express the level of satisfaction I feel on how much they have helped over that time with their concern and patience.

The Nursing staff, particularly Deeana and Susan, have been most considerate in all their dealings with me.

The Physiotherapist, Michele, has been so patient and encouraging at all times.

The Occupational Therapist, Pauline, has helped by ensuring that the house is now better fitted with aids to help me daily.

If I was asked to rate the service at Brooksby on a scale to 1 to 10 I would rate it 10 out of 10 and would recommend the services of this team to anyone.

Dear scotia36

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave this feedback - it is great to hear the difference the team have made. I'll make sure this is shared with those involved. Good luck with your ongoing recovery,

Alistair
