"Plastic sugery unit"

About: Stamford & Rutland Hospital

I was recently diagnosed with what turned out to be a squamous cell carcinoma of the right temple and cheek area, necessitating a fairly rigorous degree of facial re-arrangement, all carried out in the day surgery unit.

I was initally seen on time and then operated on on time, and treated with the utmost care for what was a understandably painful and emotive subject - facial surgery - something that is almost impossible to conceal in our open society.

Today I had my stitches removed by the gentleman who had put them there in the first place, and again, my treatment was impeccable.

The the team, my grateful thanks.

And to the NHS,who provided it in the first place, again, my grateful thanks.
