Anything else?
my grandson who is 5 was rushed to A&E recently. He had suffered a convulsion at school and the rapid response team attended. They phoned for an ambulance to take him but there were none available so had to take him in their vechicle. which they were not happy about it. My daughter and grandson had to wait in A&E for 3 hours before they saw a doctor which to me is unaceptable as he is only 5 and was taken to hospital on blue lights which i thought would have been an emergency. He was admited to the childrens ward were he stayed overnight. The doctor in A&E looked at his chest xray said he had a chest infection. The doctor on the ward said he had not but gave him antibiotics. My daughter took him to her GP yesterday after the district nurse had been out to see him on sunday they also thought he had a chest infection. The GP confirmed that he has got a chest infection. I think the doctor on the ward didnt look at the right xray as he was certain he had no chest infection which he made clear to my daughter by talking down to her when she quized him about the xray. This is unaceptable parents are in distress when their children are ill.
.
"very distressing for my daughter and grandson,."
