"Excellent care and service"

I was admitted for hand surgery on the Day Surgery ward.

During my short stay. although I was anxious about the surgery itself, I was met by a whole team of people from the nurses, students, the theatre team and the very important cleaner; all of them were professional, informative and put me at ease, I knew what was happening and when. Although they were carrying out their duties and dealing with other patients they always found time for each individual with a smile oh, and tea and toast!

So, I thank my consultant Ms McEachan and all the team who work alongside her for making my stay as comfortable as possible!

I must also include receptionists, out patient services etc as these people are often forgotten but are essential for the smooth running within the NHS. I am extremely proud of our NHS. Merry Christmas and happy new year to all
