My 2 year old daughter was admitted to the assessment ward following a visit to the GP surgery for abdominal pain on a recent Friday afternoon.
After ruling out appendicitis, the Consultant ordered an x-ray for my daughter, which she had that evening and having found a mass of some sort the Consultant was concerned and arranged for blood tests that evening and an ultrasound scan the following morning. Following the scan results, my daughter was transferred to Glasgow children's hospital.
The care and attention we received on our short visit to Crosshouse was fantastic. All staff we came into contact with couldn't have been nicer, including the auxiliary nurse and young student nurse. Please could our thanks be passed on to all who looked after us?
My daughter had surgery last week and is now recovering well and looking forward to Santa.
Thank you.
