"Eye clinic"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I visited an opticians initially as I was having difficulty reading small print.. I was prescribed reading glasses. I visited the opticians yearly for three years and was then told I had glaucoma and prescribed drops for my eyes. A year later I was told by the optician that I had cataracts and advised to have them removed. I had the cataract surgery and the result was that I have perfect vision in my left eye and poor hazy vision in my right eye I visited the hospital again and was told I had a mist behind the eye which would be removed by laser. I had the laser treatment done and my eyesight is no better and I still have poor vision in my right eye. The situation now is that I now read wearing spectacles purchased from Wilkinsons as I have no faith in the treatment I have had at the eye clinic.
