My asthma flared up quite a lot this last week and I had to call 111 after getting breathless. 111 then called the ambulance services and I was taken to hospital. I know this site doesn't let me mention individuals by name but the ambulance staff who drove me to the hospital were the kindest, most comforting people I've ever had the pleasure of coming across and I wish more people were like them. Everyone at the hospital was absolutely lovely and, except for a period where I was sat next to reception holding a drip, people were trying their best to move things along swiftly. Hopefully no one ever has to be in a situation where they'll need ambulance or hospital services, but in the case that you do, you'll be in very good hands at University Hospital. I don't have a single bad word to say of anyone working here, and I hope they know how valued and respected they are.
"The staff here are wonderful"
