Phoned for medication advice after discharged from hospital. Lovely call handler Susan based in Cardonald was so helpful and after discussion with a nurse she arranged for a GP to call me back. He called within 20 minutes and a prescription was faxed to my local pharmacy. Fantastic.

How good of you to take the time to share your experience on Care Opinion. I am sorry to learn you were in hospital, however I'm pleased you have now been discharged and I hope you are doing much better.

That's great you got your medication issue sorted. Your story is a shining example of the NHS working as a team to ensure the best possible patient care.

With some additional detail, I would be able to identify Susan and the Nurse involved from NHS 24. It would be good to be able to share your story with them. We do always try to ensure all positive feedback is shared directly with staff as this reinforces for them the hugely important part they have in providing a positive experience for callers to 111. Thank you so much for the positive feedback as each and every one makes such a difference to staff and team morale. Knowing that we meet the standard of care required to meet individual patient's healthcare needs is one of the best barometer's we can wish for.
