"A stressful situation was made much easier"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day surgery

(as a service user),

My son ended up in FVRH's   A and E last night after bursting his lip open. They promptly organises an appointment through in Glasgow for this morning for him to have surgery to clean and close the wound. The staff were amazing from the surgeons to the anaesthetists to the nurses and the auxiliaries. A stressful situation was made much easier to deal with because of them all.

Dear xlesleyxcx

Thank you for your kind feedback regarding the care provided by all involved in treating your son.

It is particularly great to hear that teams worked well across both the RHC Glasgow and the FVRH ensuring your son was seen promptly and received the care he needed.

I will pass on your feedback to our teams in the RHC and I know they will be delighted to hear this.

I hope your son is doing well after what must have been a traumatic time for you all and that he continues to recover at home.

Best wishes

Pam
