I had an MRI yesterday with cannula inserted for dye & meds.
from the moment I was called in, I was cared for and put at ease.
I informed the nurse I did not like needles and he proceeded to insert the cannula very carefully & I was happy it wasn't too traumatic.
I was kept informed at all times with what was happening, when they would be taking me in etc.
Once in the treatment room, the radiographer was very kind and attentive, checked I was OK.
A big thank you for the two who looked after me (nurse and radiographer).
Would also like to say that I witnessed how caring and compassionate the same two were with an inpatient who was brought in before me.
The patient would probably not be aware how lovely they were with them as clearly in a lot of pain.
5 stars !!
