About: The Chorley Surgery

My mother, 85yrs fell last week and injured her face, she was taken to hospital and the wound was stitched. I live 120 miles away and as family were having difficulty getting though I volunteered to ring and make an appointment for my mother to have stitches removed. I was told to ring Collinson Ave. I got he main number from the website and rang it. I patiently waited 25 minutes (Monday morning). Got through and was told to ring my mothers surgery Regent House. I then waited another 20 minutes for an answer to be told to ring Collinson Avenue. I was rather annoyed and it was explained I had to ring 01772 644700. Having explained the full circumstances in the first call why didn’t those staff tell me about the 64700 number, it’s part of the same surgery isn’t it? Maybe your website needs amending.

Thank you for your feedback. The Chorley Surgery works collaboratively with the other practices in the local area to offer additional GP appointments in the evenings and at weekends, I am sure that your mothers surgery, Regent House, will be happy to discuss further should you still have concerns.
