On Wed 5th Dec 2018 at about 10.15 my wife called 111 because I had collapsed with severe breathing difficulties. The ambulance arrived within 10mins or so and I was taken to the A&E at GRH where I was treated swiftly in the Resuscitation unit.
Quite frankly, they saved my life because of their rapid treatment.
They were efficient, professional, incredibly friendly and reassuring.
Within 2 days I was discharged with oxygen levels and blood pressure back to normal and given advice on how to stay healthy in the near future.
The food during my short stay was excellent and because of that my appetite returned!
Ward 4B was clean and quiet and if any of the patients need a nurse someone came quickly.
I cannot fault GRH and feel that our county should be extremely proud of our hospital and staff!
