"Excellent hospital and service to be applauded"

I recently had a surgical procedure following a first trimester miscarriage and cannot praise the staff at the RSH enough for their amazing, compassionate and caring treatment of me and my husband throughout the entire process.

From the antenatal sonographer who had to give me the unexpected bad news during my routine 12 week ultrasound, to the early pregnancy team nurse who had to talk through the options with me and ultimately the staff and consultant at the Day Surgey Unit - I cannot get over how compassionate and caring they all were (without exception). The booking-in process for the appointment as well as the Day Surgery itself was smooth and as well managed as possible and I am so proud to call the RSH my local hospital. Please pass my thanks on to the team in the antenatal clinic and Day Surgery Unit - what an amazing example of the NHS getting it spot on!
