"Wonderful staff"

My mother is currently under assessment on the Reed Ward. It is a horrible and scary time for the family but the level of care and dedication shown by the wonderful staff makes it so much easier.

The ward is clean, patients have their own private rooms but there are lots of different communal rooms that they can be in during the day. They are able to take part in activities and have their nails painted. I even attended a party for the Hammerton Court residents last Saturday where there was live music and food. It was heart warming to see the residents still treated as people rather than just patients.

I feel so lucky that, at this horrible time, with this horrible disease, my mum has ended up somewhere so nice.
