I was in the Endoscopy department for a gastro scope. My nerves were going at 100miles per hour. My legs were shaking my hands were shaking as this was the first time I was ever getting a scope.
I had lynne look after me, telling me I would be fine and calming me down (still a bit nervous) I had to nurse endoscopist Debbie come in and asked me the routine questions which then I became more anxious known I was next. But when my name got called and I walked into the scope room. I was asked to lie on the bed and I Debbie calmed me. I got my sedation and woke up in the recovery room.
I was treated very well. Jackie came over asked me how I was I told her I was fine, couldn't remember a thing. Nurses were all great. I had some food and got discharged. Still to this day I can't remember my scope being took place.
Thank you to all the wonderful nurses who were looking after me and thank you to Debbie
