"Very poor cafe food and service"

About: Salford Royal

My son was recently in CCU so visited at different times of day and needed a hot meal at irregular times.I was amazed to find that the Ground Restaurant was only open until 2pm during the week and closed at weekends.My family was forced to depend on the Ground cafe.where:-

Choice of food was unhealthy-pies and sandwiches- for the most part and was extremely limited.

Salad consisted of a few wilted leaves.

Service was chaotic.Staff were disorganised,forgetful and unable to manage large orders.

There was no visible supervision of work.

Prices of hot drinks seemed high-no saucers for cups!
