"Trying to get an appointment"

About: Wincanton Community Hospital

(as a service user),

I saw a very nice lady who introduced herself as Beatrice and did a very good job packing my toe. I've got a problem now because she said to leave it on for 4 days and then see her again for follow up. I should think it would be no good to see her in six months, and I think the toe is getting better well, but I can't get online to get an appointment. I've tried ringing the number several times, but I cant get through. The lady was excellent and very lovely, but I just cant get through this "wonderful" booking system

Hello,

I'm very sorry that you haven't been able to get though to the booking office; unfortunately there is a lot of staff sickness at the moment which is causing some difficulties with the booking office. If you are still having problems, please call the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01278 432022 - you can leave a message or speak to them and they will get in touch with the service for you.

I hope your toe continues to feel better and you are soon feeling yourself again (in time for Christmas!).

Best wishes,

LUCY
