"Visit to Minor Injuries Dept Following a Fall"

About: Whitworth Hospital

After slipping on black ice on my garden steps and hitting myself hard I arrived at Minor Injuries in a state of severe pain and shock.

I was feeling very faint and immediately the receptionist kicked in with the offer of a wheel chair but after a moment she actually delivered me to a waiting nurse who took me straight in to sit down in the M.I. Room for my details to be taken. The staff were very efficient and equally were immensely kind and thoughtful.

The examination was given with great care and gentleness which in my state of pain was greatly appreciated.

She took time to explain everything thoroughly and I was able to leave in a far more relaxed state of mind.
