About: Winterbourne Hospital

It was my first visit in Winterbourne hospital and I was very disappointed with the welcome and service at the reception desk.

The lady wasn’t very happy and did give me the impression that I was bothering her just by being there!

Another lady wasn’t better they both looked very unhappy.

My other experience with reception desk was when I was calling hospital to cancel my appointment the lady who answer the phone was very rude to me which made me feel very uncomfortable.

I would expect the reception staff to be more helpful and generally happy to be there and help people rather than make them feel uncomfortable.

However I would like to say that the service provided from the radiology department was absolutely superb.

Particularly one member of staff, she was warm caring and absolutely fantastic.

I am sorry you were not happy with the welcome at BMI The Winterbourne Hospital. It is the not the kind of first impression we want to give to our patients. This has been passed on to our Patient Administration Lead and we will identify if there are some training issues to be addressed. I am glad to hear that the rest of the experience with us was a good one and Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
