About: Leigh Infirmary Mh Oupatients Clinic

(as the patient),

As I am in crisis at the moment i rang the old number -1942 264 536 and was given another number 01942 264 192. I waited as it rang and it then cut off to a dead line.

I am unaware of staffing levels, problems, cuts etc. but am deeply disgusted by the fact I cannot contact anyone out of hours.

In my opinion, the Trust should be held to account for this failure and as such responsible for any consequence to me.

I’m sorry to hear that you were unable to contact us at your time of need. I understand that there have been some difficulties with telephone services to the crisis and assessment services during the past few days and that these have now been resolved.

However, I have listened to the answer phone message myself and found it to be somewhat lengthy and unclear.

I would welcome your comments on how we could improve it in order to try to ensure that it is easily understood for service users in future. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to suggest any improvements,
