"Nothing but good things to say"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

I was admitted too ward 4 after a lengthy stay on the critical care department. I spent six weeks on this wonderful ward, after two weeks I was taken too the physio room too start working with the team there they worked extensively on improving my balance and core strength. Once I had achieved that they started getting me on my feet and walking a little bit until I was strong enough to use a frame, they then decided I could move on to Eastwood PIC but before I could do that we worked on a recreation of my kitchen at home so when I was sent home I could make my own way around. I want to personally thank the staff for saving my life and getting me to a point where I could make the move to more independence.
