i have to have a 12 weekly review at which, all being well, i get a prescription for another 12 weeks. so i get a 2 letters from Scotland telling me my appointment has been cancelled when i wasn't given an appointment in the first place because a student nurse said he'd sorted it all out. the new appointment is for a month after i run out of drugs. this issue happens repeatedly and the hospital need to get control of their processes rather than farming them out to people in Scotland. if they got rid of the computer and used good old paper they'd be more effective as well as more efficient.
