About: West Cumberland Hospital

I recently had to have a colonoscopy, and all the staff in this department were professional, efficient, and friendly. Before going for the procedure everything was explained fully and I was given choices about the level of sedation on offer. I opted not to have sedation but was told that I could change my mind at any point during the procedure. I was kept fully informed at all times during the procedure and was treated with dignity and respect.

If I was to have this procedure done again I wouldn't hesitate in accepting an appointment at this hospital.
