"Queens - Oncology Haematology"

I attended my Haematology Oncology review yesterday only to find that a letter had been sent cancelling my appointment.

I had not received the letter and did not know my appointment had been cancelled.

The Reception Team explained that the clinic was already running late but would check to see if I could be added in.

Unfortunately, there was no space for me but the Reception & Nursing Team worked really hard at finding a solution for me.

My bloods were taken and arrangements made for the results to be reviewed and a member of the nursing team to contact me to discuss the findings.

I received a call later that day explaining my results and arranging a further appointment.

My job involves a really strict work schedule and I unfortunately cannot take time off at short notice so I did not have any availability to re-arrange the cancelled appointment so the team worked so quickly and efficiently at finding such a supportive and effective solution.

I was anxious and did my best to hide this but it was clear to me that the Reception & Nursing team can see through such nonsense and did all they could to sort my problem.
