"Leaving...."

I've finally had enough and decided to leave this surgery due to never being able to get a Doctors appointment.

If ever I am ill I've just had to visit a walk in clinic or use an online private doctor - even though I pay a huge amount of tax for an NHS service.

Waiting times are ridiculous and even if you do manage to get an appointment the care isn't great.

I had an issue with my arm and only realised after my appointment that the Doctor didn't actually examine my arm once during the appointment....

Seem to be fobbed off a lot with 'wait another 3 months and see if it's still the same', even if you've had the issue for 9 months already... Reception staff are stressed and rude over the phone.

The only great thing about this surgery is the nurse - she is an absolute delight and so, so lovely.

She actually cares about her patients.

Doctors and Receptionists don't appreciate that visiting a surgery can cause a lot of anxiety in people - it's not somewhere people want to be - so treating patients with a bit of kindness and empathy would go a long way.
