"Slipping on Black Ice"

About: Sheffield Children's Hospital

(as the patient),

I banged my head, slipping on black ice. I felt a bit dizzy and concussed, so my dad took me to hospital.  When I got there, the nurses were helpful.  They got me to a bed and monitored me for a while to make sure there was no brain injury.  They gave me an MRI, and the staff helped by telling me what was going to happen and why.

They looked at the results and reassured me I was going to be fine.
Overall all the staff were really nice and they seemed to do everthing necessary to make sure I was ok.
