About: Woodend Hospital / Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

(as a service user),

I went in for pre op assessment on Thursday, the care and explanation I received from the nurse Petra and specialist nurse Jill was exceptional and no question was left unanswered.  Left there without any Worries of forthcoming op and I’m sure care during and after op will be the same as they are all doing a great job and not getting enough recognition for it,

 Very grateful

Dear Gauldie,

I’m so sorry we missed responding to your story. The clinic has a new Senior Charge Nurse who is just learning to use the Care Opinion system and I’ve stepped in to help while she gets started.

The Pre-Operative Assessment team take great pride in making their patients feel as prepared for their forthcoming operations as possible and I’m delighted you felt Jill and Petra listened to you and left no questions unanswered - it will make their day knowing you have taken time to give them a special mention.
