"Bereavement, anxiety, depression"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

I was very anxious at my first visit had no idea what was going to happen, the therapist I see was so calm and understanding putting me at ease. He listened and advised and broke down into detail different situations we spoke about, I sat n cried trying to explain things and nothing was too much, to lose someone and try n carry on is not at all easy to accomplish, if any one reads this these people are here to help, don’t feel embarrassed, you will feel so much better to when gathering your thoughts. Very pleased and happy with the professional help I received.

Dear blueeyes

I'm sorry to hear about your bereavement but I can see that you have been helped through the process with support from a therapist.

You are absolutely right it is tough and it is sad to lose someone but its a process we go through to find the best way of making sense and then coping. Many people talk about feeling stronger, having gone through sadness and loss. However, we also know that it needs some time too.......

Anxiety and depression is very common but sometimes we don't know who to turn to for help and support.

Thank you for sharing your experience on care opinion I know it will be helpful for many people reading this and looking for support.

Many thanks

Paul
