I telephoned this morning to ask if my letter from podiatry which contains a prescription request, had been received
To be told it has not, I then asked how I could sort this out, to be told podiatry need to contact them as e mail addresses cannot be given to patients, fair enough
However when i said that I am desperate for the prescription as my dressing needs changing tomorrow (Thursday) I was told that perhaps I should buy some to tide me over!
I currently have a diabetic ulcer on my foot which I am being treated for and they are special dressings, which is why I had a request for a prescription in the first place!
Luckily speaking with podiatry, they have managed to sort! And the prescription has been sent to the chemist which the dressings are surprisingly special order!
And hopefully get them tomorrow afternoon
The surgery did ring at about 11:55 and as I missed the call I phoned them back and because they were closing at 12 I then got cut off!
My doctor is very helpful I have no problem with him at all
It only seems to be one receptionist that doesn’t seem to be very helpful
The others seem to go out of their way to help
"Unhelpful receptionist"
