"Excellent Care at Queen Charlotte's Hospital..."

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

Six days after my wife delivered of our daughter, she became very unwell with chest pain.We came to Queen Charlotte's where she was diagnosed with pneumonia.

My wife was admitted straight into labour ward and the care that she received was just outstanding. She was seen very quickly by the midwife and the doctors including the consultant, and within 3 hours of admission, she had had all her blood tests, chest x-ray and antibiotics, and even a CT scan to rule out a blood clot in her lungs.

The staff were efficient and friendly throughout and we felt we had received an excellent level of care, which both led to rapid treatment and was very reassuring.
