I had a major abdominal operation in late October at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, performed by the wonderful Miss McKinley, and her fantastic Registrar. I spent the next 16 days in Ward 206, where I have to say the care I received from ALL staff was exemplary. Their dedication, professionalism, and holistic approach to EVERY patient was so clear to see, and nothing was too much trouble. They are ALL a huge credit to NHS Grampian.
As a retired Doctor, seeing things from the "other side" now, as it were, as a patient, I can testify how hard-working and dedicated this group of professionals are, and I will be forever in their debt for the care and kindness they showed to me during my stay in Ward 206.
