About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I cam into hospital after my GP visit.  I had a bad headache.  

When I arrived I was sent up to the ward and kept in for a few days.  Got a brain scan after a couple of day.  Still awaiting the result.  

The care I received was excellent in every department I was in.  Starting with reception, xray and ward 3E.

The food was really lovely with a great menu everyday.  The ladies serving were so nice.

Nursing staff excellent, couldn't do enough for you, nothing was a bother.  

The porters were so nice and thoughtful when taking you about.

Dear frostte48,

Sounds like a really difficult time for you. It is great to hear that the care you received was excellent from admission. There are so many people involved in you care and at all stages we aim to get it right. I am delighted you found this to be the case.

We are very fortunate to have an excellent catering department who are very much part of the team in ensuring you receive good nutrition.

I hope you now have all your results and most importantly are feeling better.
