I attended this place because of a problem I have with my left ankle and pain the first visit I saw a trainee who obviously was new but was polite wrote things down listened but was unsupervised and really didn’t do anything frankly it could have been done on a form filling exercise but I was told to come back the following week. Now bearing in mind I have attended at pikes lane some 3 years previous had some treatment that helped with the pain I thought I may get similar but nope I got a young person who hadn’t bothered to even read my records tell me a stroke which I’ve had is like having a numb arm when you’ve lay on it wrong ? Brilliant diagnosis then proceeded to tell me my problem is my brain not communicating with my body parts? then put a band round my ankle asked me to move it ? I suggested that the treatment I’d had previously had helped but was told he wasn’t doing that so to forget that I explained in all the years since my stroke I’ve never seen a proper stroke specialist or been given help I just say people like him with no understanding of what it’s like honestly I’d had enough so I suggested I try a cycling machine to get the muscles working he said ok come back next week we’ll do that but honestly the attitude was unacceptable and I won’t attend
Bolton physio is bad .
