I wasn’t going to write a review relating to my experience on Monday, but after looking on this site for a dental service I was stunned by the feedback that has been given, people should realise that this is a GP surgery and not the hairdressers! I decided to give feedback on my experience with the surgery On Monday 12 November .

Over the weekend I was suffering with a few issues that I was very concerned about. I contacted the surgery and was added to a triage list by a very friendly receptionist , who told me that the GP would call me back.

I received a call from a doctor who was very helpful and after listening to my concerns booked me an appointment that evening. I arrived at the surgery and was promptly seen by a member of staff who was I have to say was really thorough, knowledgeable and very professional.

Looking at the comments on this page does not do the surgery any justice, yes there may be a time when appointments are tight but the triage service is a great way to allocate appointments offer reassurance and give advice. I have never had any problems with the service from cervical screening to a sore throat, from reception staff to GP,

I have never had an unpleasant experience. Thank you Haxby !
