"My mum going for a minor op."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a relative),

The last time my mum went to hospital was when she gave birth to my brother 50 years ago. So to say she was very nervous is an understatement.

On first meeting David had my mum laughing. David and Doreen in the Minor Op department were brilliant.  He explained in simple terms what was going to happen to mum and what parts would be sore. David had many stories to tell taking her mind off what was happening. He told her she looked like Elizabeth Taylor and she thought this was funny and has told everyone since.

Thank you David and Doreen for taking care of my mum I can not praise you and thank you enough for making her appointment go so well. I hope you get recognition for all the good work you do.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review.

I have a tendency to never leave a silence unfilled! As long as I am concentrating on the task in hand, there is no need for anybody else to be fretting over it. Doreen thinks I blether too much sometimes, but it seems I got it right for you.

Hopefully your mum is healing well and hasn't developed any other of Ms Taylor's traits, as diamond engagement rings are really expensive these days!

Thanks again

David
