"An Impressive Service"

About: Loughton Health Centre

I was telephoned yesterday and asked to see a GP today. The practice had received the results of a CT scan that had incidentally revealed a problem in an another area to the one that had raised concerns. The GP was totally professionally, displayed excellent interpersonal skills, was caring and compassionate. They talked me through the results that had raised the concern and in consultation decided to fast track me through the appropriate hospital services.

Later, I received a phone call from the admin department at the Health Centre who provided excellent information regarding the fast track process.

Whilst I was in the waiting room, there was a patient who was extremely unpleasant and demanding, suggesting that they may have a mental health issue.I was very impressed with how the receptionist dealt with the patient's irrational demands in a quiet, caring and professional manner.
