"Minor Ops at Larbert Hospital"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as a relative),

My mum had to have a biopsy last week. We had to go to minor ops at Larbert in the ambulatory care unit.

Her nurses were Kirsty and Ella. What lovely ladies - they made a possibly stressful experience into one that wasn't too bad at all for my mum and, as her sole carer, it was nice to be included in the process and have everything explained re what to expect afterwards and what to do. By our experience over the past two years, empathy and kindness is something that's in short supply in the nhs these days, and carers are usually disregarded at best, but these two were excellent. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. I have shared this with our team and everyone is pleased you and your mum had a positive experience at our clinic. It can be a very stressful time coming into hospital both as a patient and as a carer and I am pleased we made this experience a positive one. We are all a team, staff, patient and importantly carers and I am pleased this came across during your visit.

I hope your mums wound in healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty
