Fell over into brambles, large thorn imbedded really deep. Went to Falmouth minor injury’s then sent to Treliske with note for Orthopaedics. I was seen really quickly assessed, xrayed and a lovely nurse took my blood pressure etc and took me up to Trauma 1.
I was settled in a bed then given intravenous antibiotics and my blood taken regularly. I was then told I was second on the list for surgery in the morning. I was taken to the operating theatre with lovely staff. I found the staff in the theatre all lovely.
I was taken back to the ward around 12. 30 and I was feeling hungry and they sorted some food for me and Bernie my nurse for the day cut my food up for me. I was discharged around 5pm and I found my whole experience at Treliske exceptional nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and I am really grateful for the care I received. I thank you all very much.
"I found my whole experience exceptional"
