"Wells Road Centre"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

A group of us went to visit Thurland ward, as part of a project to help get access to the information that is held about patients and how it can be accessed by the patient. We had a very positive meeting with 2 service-users and 4 members of staff. Many ideas were exchanged about how we could encourage patients to seek more information, in a bright and eye-catching way. Another meeting has been planned, so we can all make a final decision!

Thank you for sharing your story.

Can you let us know how you get on with this? We are always trying to improve communication for patients and would be interested in hearing about improvements on Thurland Ward.
