"Amazing nurses, surgeons & anaesthetist in day..."

I was booked in to the day surgery unit for a diagnostic laparoscopy. It was my first time under general anaesthetic so I was a little bit nervous about going under. Every member of staff I encountered from the wonderful managing sister to the student nurse, the hospital porter, anaesthetists and operating surgeon could not have been nicer to make me feel so at ease.

I was treated really well despite my first operation being cancelled after 6 hours of waiting in the day surgery unit, my second experience was much better. I couldn't recommend the unit more highly for their patient care and kindness.
