"Staff cooperation and respect"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Gynaecology

I was referred to the gyneo ward at the John Radcliffe. Upon arrival I handed a letter from my GP to the lady at reception- she took this to a lady in the back office who replied 'another one' i found this so disrespectful as I've been sent here with a possible eptopic pregnancy?!! After this we were taken to a waiting area where there was another 2 patients. The nurse brought over an obs machine and in the waiting room checked my obs!!!! Infront of the other patients and their partners! Once again no dignity or respect. I was asked to do a urine sample to which i told the nurse as I keep vomiting I don't have down me to pass any urine but i will still try. To this she replied 'well I can't do anything if you don't provide me with a sample' ?! At this point i was furious- you know my issue. I'm extremely dehydrated- the last time I passed urine was nearly 8hours ago! Anyway- I drank some water and was sick then literally had 2 drops of urine and handed this to the nurse. We was then told the doctor will see us shortly. 3 hours later we are STILL waiting for a doctor to see us. I have asked the nurse on several occassions to which they reply we don't know. I've asked them to direct me to someone who will know and they tell me the docor will come when he will. Like I said before- I''m dehydrated I have been sick twice since waiting here. My head is spinning. My kidneys hurt. I want to know if my baby is ok?! But the nurses seem more worried about how many visitors a patient gets?!!!!!
