I was referred to Clinical Immunology at the

Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital for investigations into a possible antibody deficiency, secondary to treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis and I'm enormously thankful and grateful for that every day.

Following almost two years of illness and misdiagnosis my Consultant Immunologist at the

Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital very quickly gave a provisional diagnosis and, following tests confirming this, I am now on regular treatment, which has completely changed my life. Not only am I now feeling better than I have in years, I also have confidence that should things change in the future, I will have the support and expertise of an amazing Immunologist to get things back on track. I simply cannot rate my consultant's kind, supportive and thorough approach highly enough and I only hope other patients can benefit as I have.
